How To Build Customer-oriented Websites For Your Online Business

Your website is a typical shop or store where your customers and prospects gets to see what you have in stock, only that it is an online platform.

Woocommerce Plugin is one of the leading technologies of any ecommerce development company that makes it a point of duty to create websites that are not only attractive and valuable but also in line with meeting the essential needs of your clients and prospects.

As a business owner who has made up his or her mind to take the business online, the most focal point to start from is how to build the website in such a way that would resonate with what you do and your customers’ needs.

Here are the simple ways to go about it.

Know Your Target Audience And Segment Them

Just like the offline store you have been running successfully, knowing who needs your products and services and why they need them is perhaps the most important thing to understand before starting up the business. Creating a website is no exception.

While building your website, you must be crystal clear about the demography of your target audience and use these data judiciously in building a website that would resonate with their information. It would be out of rationale for you to create a jersey store website with the concept of insurance demography.

Recognize Your Customers Needs

What kills most websites sprouting out these days is their inability to comprehend the thin line between what their target audiences want and what they need. This is why most beautiful website only gets visitors and views but could not convert them to sales.

The demography of your target audience should guide you in denoting what your audience needs at any given time. This information should naturally flow with the building of your website so that your customers can come to you whenever the need arises.

Stamp Your Authority

Being in the offline model of your business is a positive for you while building your website and you can use this to create a customer-oriented website that converts with relative ease.

The psychology of humans is designed in such a way that we tend to flow with someone who has more experience and knowledge than us in a particular industry or niche. Using this experience to build your website and stating how you have helped clients get things done with ease in the offline world would definitely make your website a go-to site when similar problems occur.

Be Relevant and Valuable With Your Content

It is possible for me to stumble upon your website while surfing the internet, what will make me stay and digest your content is the relevance it has, nothing more. The importance of creating website that has valuable content cannot be overemphasized.

While building the website, your customers are not sincerely concerned about what you are or what you can do, what they want to know is the effect of those things on their personal life. Once they can figure that out on your website, congratulations, you are a step closer to closing the deal.

Be it web copies or blog posts, images, or videos, all content on your website must be a solution to a certain pressing need of your customer or prospect.

Swift And Fast

Just like you, nobody loves waiting forever to get the information they need. Building your website with this in mind would help you get to your customers as soon as possible.

On the other part of swiftness is the loading time of your website. Latest Plugins like WooCommerce Product Size Charts Plugin can resolve the loading time. If your website takes forever to load, you are definitely going to chase potential customers and loyal clients away from your website; this is definitely not good for your business at all.

Having a great website with lots of beautiful layouts and images is not enough to convert visitors to customers, building your website from the scratch with these tips would invariably go a long way in establishing your dominance in your industry or niche.

Your website is meant to project you to your customers and solve their problems with ease, don’t forget that when you are at the building stage of the website.

How Can You Drive More Traffic to Your Website with Attractive Web Design?

Web design has evolved over the years, what was obtainable 5 years ago has certainly been improved upon. Even the current design you are using can be improved upon by a website development company
Website design plays an important role in the performance and speed of a website, in highlighting your online presence, pushing Search engine optimization. Any Custom Price Module would advise you that by improving your web design and making it more attractive, and you could drive more traffic to your website. There are many factors that contribute to the level of traffic on a website.
Let us show you how to do it with the following steps.

  1. Replace background images with CSS3 background gradients

Large image content accounts for websites being unresponsive. Background images can be replaced with attractive CSS3 background gradients which are light on bandwidth. There are web design tools that allow you to use cross-platform interface designs.

  1. Replaces images with text

The major problem with image elements in web design is the fact that it is heavy and slows down the process. In some cases, heavy images make websites to become unresponsive. In your web design, you can replace your header image with text. Another reason to make this change is that although images are visually appealing to the human eyes, search engine bots do not interpret images in the same manner as human beings. Search engines are able to interpret text far better than they can interpret images. And since the aim is to attract traffic to the website, replacing images with keyword text would get you there.

  1. Implement responsive design

For your web design to attract more traffic and users, it has to be very adaptive and responsive to mobile browsers. By now we would have all come across the much stated fact that more than half all web traffic is generated by mobile devices. Therefore it is evident where your web design priorities should lie. You could engage the services of an Ultimate Product Bundle to help you come up with a more mobile friendly web design because creating a responsive web design is an uphill task that you may not be able to carry out unless you are a true expert. You must ensure that you are not missing out on this enormous amount of web traffic.

  1. Replace java scripts with css3 transitions

Java scripts are deceptive and you must avoid using them in your web design. They block search engines from crawling very important content on your website. Although they can be used to add a little bit of style to your website, the cons outweigh the pros. There are a lot of other web designs that could be applied to websites without having to deal with the side effects that come with using java scripts. These tools have been written is CSS and HTML

  1. Go for speed

Search engines take seriously the amount of time spent on loading a website. You need to make sure you sort out every issue that might be slowing down your website. These issues could be coming from your web hosting or server.
You can also tackle speed issues by compressing the size of files before you upload them on your website. Use external video sources like YouTube to the plugin in videos from, so that an entire video doesn’t have to slow up the loading process on your website.

5 WordPress Plugins For Microinteractions, That Provide Better UX For Online Store

While we might not notice it all the time, we encounter microinteractions quite a lot during our day. From replying to emails to playing music on the music app, we come across these microinteractions every day.

When a woocommerce smart coupons is designing a digital product such as an online store, microinteractions are something that needs to be incorporated. All though ‘microscopic’ they do play a key role in the user experience when a customer interacts with the site. Using the right microinteraction can vastly improve the appeal of your site, but in the same way, opting for a wrong microinteraction can break your product. To make the task easier, here are the top plugins to enhance the user experience of your online store.

Button Loader

Pressing a button might be interesting depending on the outcome, but the actual process of pressing a button is mundane and dull. You can change this by using Button Loader which shows a loading icon or text when a user clicks send or accept on something like the Terms and Conditions. It might not seem interesting, but letting the customer know that his response was registered is important as it might keep them on the page instead of them leaving under the assumption that the page is broken.

Button loader comes with a number of eye catching loading buttons that you can apply to your website. Another application that does the same is called Ladda.

WordPress Tooltip

Tooltips are a great asset to an e-commerce site. Anyone who has done a woocommerce coupon project will agree. They give out a lot of handy information, and by animating them, you can add a bit of “ooh” to your online store. The WordPress Tooltip allows you to add tooltips to your forms or any specific icon in the website.

A common mistake here is the inclusion of too many tooltips. Remember to keep it low and nice!

In the event that either Contact Form 7 or Gravity Form is being used, then Magic Tooltips is a much better option to make use of.

Amazing Hover Effects Plugin

Adding the hover effect to your website is pretty easy, but there needs to be a reason for them to exist. Ideally, the hover effect should let a user know more information about what will happen when they click an icon on your online store.

Setting up and implementing Amazing Hover Effects Plugin is not that difficult, but the effect it gives your site is quite profound. Of course, Amazing Hover Effects Plugin is not the only option available to users. The other options available include Microthemer Lite and Animate it

FB Quote Plugin

The FB Quote Plugin allows a user to quickly share any text he or she highlights on the site. When they highlight text, a link to their Facebook profile opens up and clicking it takes them to Facebook. This neat and handy feature allows customers to quickly share any exciting promotions and deals present on your online store.

With other social media sites like Twitter available, chances are you are looking for a asimialr app but for other social media sites. If that is the case, Highlight and Share is a great option worth checking out.

I Recommend This Plugin

This plugin gives users the option of recommending products on your site for another user. Another benefit of this plugin is that it allows you to get feedback from consumers and interact with them on a deeper level. This plugin allows you to include the option for like hearts – similar to what is on Instagram.

Zillalikes is very similar to I Recommend This Plugin and offer almost the same functionality. You are recommended to try both out and go for whichever one fits your style the best.

After you have installed ZillaLikes, include the code “Zzilla_likes” to the page or post and you should be done!

Annnd that’s a wrap up!

Before you go about adding all the microinteraction plugins you see, it’s important to remember that less is more in this area. The microinteractions are meant to be subtle and enhance the user experience with little actions and should never be the main spotlight on the website.

A Complete Guide to Install WordPress Plugins According To Your Need

The ecommerce development company or magento ecommerce agency  always gives your assistance and advice, when choosing your WordPress plugins and their installation according to your needs.

An extension or plugin is a “small” program that adds a new feature to your WordPress site, without calling on your developer.

Indeed, WordPress cannot do everything by default. It would be like putting all kinds of ingredients in a soup. In the end, we would have neither a soup of vegetables, nor a soup of fishes and even less a vermicelli soup but rather a funny mixture.

So you need a basic ingredient (WordPress) to which you add a pinch of this, a hint of that to get to site that appeals your visitors. As you can see, plugins are a great way to customize your site.

Install an extension from the WordPress directory

This is the easiest and fastest way to install a WordPress extension. Everything happens in the WordPress admin console.

Only free extensions are referenced in the directory of WordPress extensions. To install an extension you just purchased, skip to the next chapter.

But where to find WordPress plugins?

To avoid going too fast, I want to point out that before going head-to-head to install plug-ins at arm’s length, you have to ask the right questions:

➢ What functionality do I need?
➢ Can a plugin answer this need?
➢ Am I able to understand what this plugin does?
➢ Can I set it up without harming my site?

Have these questions in mind because some plugins can have a negative impact if you do not use them properly.

Here are some examples of extensions that we can use: ·

  • Yoast to improve the SEO of your pages,
  • Sumo to add social sharing buttons on your site,
  • Hellobar to easily capture the email addresses of your visitors…

That’s not all … There are thousands of free and paid extensions. Besides, it’s one of the strengths of WordPress.

Once you know what you need, the first place you go to is the official directory of WordPress plugins.

The official directory of WordPress plugins

The least we can say is that it is a real cave of Ali Baba! More than 30,000 plugins are available for free. As much as you can say that you can graft all kinds of features to your site.

WP pot will present several of them over the weeks (this is already the case with the WordPress SEO plugin) but you will have to go it alone to find all the plugins necessary for your project. Do not forget to ask yourself the questions listed previously.

If that’s not enough, other plugins are available on CodeCanyon which is a marketplace created by the company Envato (which also publishes Themeforest). This site offers various scripts for all types of websites including plugins for WordPress.

The WordPress plugins you can find are all premium, i.e. paid. So be sure to study what they offer in detail before buying one, it would be a shame to spend money for nothing.

On dozens of other sites

Although we can not draw an exhaustive list, it is possible to find plugins elsewhere than on the two sites that we have just seen. It can be found on:

➢ WordPress theme shops like WooThemes and GraphPaperPress.
➢ Sites offering several plugins like WPMUDev and iThemes (they also sell themes).
➢ Sites dedicated to a specific plugin like Easy Digital Downloads, Gravity Forms (see the presentation of this plugin) and Frenchie WP Rocket.

Google is here to help you too. Type “XXX wordpress plugin” where XXX is the description of the desired feature.

Be careful not to download anything on sites a little shady (no puny word compared to the Marmite WP), your site could be indigestion. And believe us, a little homeopathy will not solve the problem. So be careful.

Installing a free plugin from the WordPress directory

What you need to know with the WordPress plugins directory is that it can be accessed directly from the WordPress admin.

To do this, go to Extensions> Add from the sidebar.

Note: If you cannot find this menu, you certainly use the WordPress.com service which does not allow the installation of extensions. Check out the differences between the two WordPress here.

Then type the name of the plugin you have found or keywords that symbolize what you are looking for in the search engine.

Let’s say we need a plugin to create a contact form and you’ve discovered the awesome Contact Form 7. Type Contact Form 7 in the search field and see the results.

Click Install Now to … install the pluginA small window will appear asking you to confirm, click OK to continue.

Several instructions on the progress of the installation will be displayed until the finalization of the installation.

Then click on activate the extension to put it into service.

Your plugin is installed. All you have to do is configure it but this will be the subject of another recipe.

In summary here are the 4 steps to install a WordPress extension from the directory:

1. Go to Extensions> Add to your WordPress console,
2. Find the extension with its name or keyword,
3. Click the “Install” button,4. Click the “Activate” button.

Warning: you still have to configure the parameters of this extension. But, as these settings differ depending on the extensions, I will not be able to describe them in this article.

Note: The extensions directory is also available on wordpress.org. But in this case, first download the zip file of the extension to your PC and then follow the procedure described in the next chapter.

Installing a WordPress plugin purchased or downloaded

Following your shopping, you logically could download the .zip file of your plugin.

Note that if you have downloaded a free plugin from the official WordPress directory or from another site, the following instructions are also valid.

In fact, all that follows will work as long as you have a WordPress plugin in .zip format.

Go back to Extensions> Add, but this time, click the Submit link. Then select the .zip file of your plugin on your computer and click Install Now.

Once the plugin is installed you will get the same screen as for the installation from the official directory. Also click Enable Extension to turn it on.

Then,  It will configure your plugin if it has an options page.

In summary here are the 5 steps to install a paid WordPress extension:

1. Download the zip file of the extension to your computer,
2. Go to “Extensions> Add” on your WordPress console,
3. Click on the button “Upload an extension”,
4. Choose the zip file of the extension and click on the “Install” button,5. Click the “Activate” button.

Note: Again, do not forget to configure the extension settings according to your needs. But as these settings are different between 2 extensions, I will not dwell on this point here.

Installing a WordPress plugin via FTP

This method should not be useful because it is possible to manage its plugins directly from WordPress but as this article aims to be complete, we want to show you how.

Let’s assume you have a WordPress plugin in a .zip file.

Unzip it and open your favorite FTP software. Usually it’s FileZilla but for others it’s Coda 2 (which also acts as a code editor).

Let repeat. When you are at the root of your site, navigate to the / wp-content / plugins / folder on your site.

Copy the file of your plugin (obtained following the decompression of the .zip file) with a simple drag and drop file in the plugins folder.

Once your plugin appears in the WordPress plugins folder, you will have to go to Extensions in your administration and click on Activate to start using the plugin.

In summary, here are the 6 steps to install a WordPress extension via FTP:

1. Download the zip file of the extension to your computer,
2. Unzip it to your computer,
3. Open your FTP tool like Filezilla,
4. Connect to your server with FTP credentials provided by your host,
5. Transfer the unzipped folder of your extension to your server in the wp-content folder of your website,
6. Activate it from the “extensions” page.

Note: Once enabled, configure the extension settings. Unfortunately, WordPress extensions all have their own settings.

What to do after installing a WordPress plugin?

As we have seen, once a plugin is installed and activated you will have to configure it. Here, it’s up to you to play.

After configuring your plugin, check that everything is going well on your site (preferably in private browsing) and that the desired functionality is in place.

If not, persevere a little. It may also be that you have not chosen the right plugin. You will have to go hunting again to find the ideal plugin.

The least we can say is that you are spoiled for choice to install a WordPress plugin!

Finally, we recommend that you do not complicate your life and make it easy. That is to say use the installation via the administration either for the plugins of the official directory or that you downloaded elsewhere.
