Her birth date was October 18th, 1987 and she was raised in Nagpur, India. Her privacy was respected by her parents and she had two siblings.
Her education was completed at The Chanda Devi Saraf School in Nagpur and she graduated from M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women in Chennai. After moving to Bengaluru in 2009, Suresh began his employment at Hippocampus, a Children’s Library. For a short period of time, she was employed as a chef and then went on to work as a chef.

Sumukhi relocated to Bengaluru in 2009 after graduating from Chennai. She started working at Hippocampus, a library that serves children. She worked as a chef at a food laboratory for a short period of time. She became a part of a television series called The Improv while working at this laboratory. This show was an improvisational comedy show and it began in 2012. The audience who were at this show basically gave suggestions, situations and scenarios which they made to the host and then on the basis of that the actors on the stage have to perform on the spot. Almost 100 shows in places like Dubai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Sweden, and others were performed by her while she was part of The Improv team. Following this, she resigned from her job in 2015 to pursue a career in comedy. This is how she started her journey as a stand-up comedian.
Sumukhi Suresh is the owner of her own YouTube channel. The number of subscribers she has is currently 105K. Her channel is filled with videos of her stand-up acts, performances she has done on other channels, trailers of her shows, and other things.
Her first video was produced with Varun Agarwal and was entitled Anu Aunty – Engineering Anthem.
