Raised in a middle-class household by his father, Vivek Nagar, a businessman, and his mother, Mrs. Nagar, a homemaker, Ajey grew up alongside his elder brother, Yash Nagar, a music producer and DJ known as Wily Frenzy.

Ajey enrolled at Delhi Public School (DPS) in Faridabad until 2016, but resigned before his Class XII board exams because of the stress of his economics exam. He was able to complete his 12th-grade education through distance learning with the help of his parents.

CarryMinati’s Carrie Is Live YouTube channel was launched in early 2017 and now has 4.63 million subscribers and 462.8 million views.
