After He formed a comedy duo with his friend Rebecca Drysdale after finishing his second year of college. They traveled to Chicago to pursue sketch comedy and improvisation with him.
Peele first encountered Keegan-Michael Key at Chicago’s Second City, an entertainment venue that specializes in comedy, theater, and improvisational skills. Together, they appeared on MADtv. Peele was born on February 21, 1979 in New York City and grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan under the guidance of a single parent. He graduated from Calhoun School and attended Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers, New York. His decision to pursue comedy led him to drop out of college after two years.
Career
In 2003, Peele was added to the cast of MADtv’s sketch comedy show. He formed a friendship with another cast member, Keegan Michael-Key. After forming a comedy duo, they co-starred in their own sketch show called Key & Peele.
